A big urban crisis hit Delhi in the latest years, but the city demonstrate a strong resilience to the transformation indispensable prerequisite to react to the attack by entrepreneurs and investors who for years have been trying to undermine the identity of one of the most interesting cities in the world.
Important transformation preceded and accompanied the Commonwealth Games on the October 2010. Near to the new realization and infrastructure, an intense social conflicts arose from the destruction of informal settlements and from the consequent removal of the inhabitants of these places. In addition, many sites have been blocked for a long time by the explosion of corruption.
The unfinished projects are part of the vibrant not defined metaphor of the Delhi of today: divided between many cultures that hosted and the hyper-liberalistic acceleration, among the regrets about sureness government control and the experimentalism of new participatory methodologies.
