The relationship between development policies and regions cannot be disregarded when the area object of the intervention is not only large, but even characterised by the presence of a National Park and an high volcanic risk. These elements increase the complexity of the planning as they require innovative models for a systemic reading of measures’ impacts and of interaction between policies influencing the region. Thus, understanding distinctiveness and needs for integrated and made to measure planning.
