[i]Hybrid Landscape / hybrid design Processes and design strategies for contemporary urban territories[/i] INTERNATIONAL CALL FOR PAPERS Theme: Exploring theories, methodologies, application case studies of urban design in contemporary forms of our sprawled cities and metropolitan landscapes. We are looking for research papers and viewpoints that focus on the major themes of Urban Hybridization, that are directly related to the urban and architectural design. Topics: Hybrid landscapes of the sprawled (diffused) city Urban landscapes around the roads ("highways-scape") Hybrid typologies of public urban spaces Morphologies of the urban grounds ("ground-scapes") Typologies and textures of urban edges Hybridization design strategies and case-study in urban, landscape or architectural design In-between design strategies Urban Pore/Porosity Key Dates: [b]- Abstract Deadline: November 30, 2009[/b] - Abstracts acceptance notification: December 21, 2009 - Selected papers submission Deadline: January 30, 2010 - On-line publication: February 28, 2010 - Web Conferences - Webinar: March - May 2010 Submission Guidelines: Participants wishing to present a paper in accordance with the themes and topics are invited to submit a 200-300 word abstract in English without illustrations. The abstract should summarize the contents of the paper and clearly indicate the specific relevance to the themes of the Conference. Do not include images or figures in the abstract.
