Interreg IIIC-Progresdec: LAMCODE final meeting, 15th/16th October 2007, Asti

Final meeting LAMCODE - Landscape Management for Countryside Development [b]15th October 2007: Workshop at Sala Consiglio, Comune di Asti 16th October 2007: Seminar at Sala Pastrone, Comune di Asti[/b] European Landscape Convention has opened the way to an innovative conception of landscape, which will bring remarkable operating consequences; for the states that have signed it, the review of their own territorial policies, in particular of those regarding peri-urban, extra-urban and rural areas, is an official political commitment. If it is not possible to develop a real common corpus of regulations, the challenge is to elaborate common guidelines, divided into themes, which can be integrated in the course of time and adjustable for different situations: LAMCODE partners’ experiences can contribute to the making of these guidelines. After having worked together for one year LAMCODE partners Parco di Bracciano (Italy), Comune di Asti (Italy), Talamanca de Jarama (Spain) and Depepok (Greece) are going to present their case studies and final outputs to the public.
