After Katrina: New Visions for Gulf Region
Wednesday, 09/28/2005, 6:00 - 9:00 PM Hafele Americas (Madison Park N/E Corner) 25 East 26th Street, New York 10010 A get together for individuals and institutions, professionals and students, towards a coordinated, interdisciplinary effort in response to the great devastation in the Gulf Region in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Along with stimulating dialogue on reconstruction there will be Cajun cuisine and live jazz. Long-term action would be outlined. Brief presentations would lead to an open forum. All are welcome specially those now in NY/NJ after evacuations or those having roots/ relations in the affected region. The event is free!
