Slovak National Theatre & Ganymedes Fountain; The Slovenska
Navodne Divaldo (Slovak National Theatre) was built in 1886
and completely reconstructed and modernized in the 1980s.
Constructed in the neo-Renaissance style, the Ganymedes Fountain
is marble with a bronze statue of Ganymedes astride an eagle.
It was dedicated to the city in 1880 by the Bratislava First
Savings Bank
