Innsbruck

The old Innsbruck station has been constructed immediately after WWII; its concept became totally out of time. So a complete new, partly transparent building was planned within the Bahnhofsoffensive.

Klagenfurt
(91,141 inhabitants)

The Klagenfurt railway station will be upgraded mainly in terms of intern accessibility (elevators, escalators) while there won't be any changes in the operational area. 2,600 m² should be occupied by new offices, the existing shopping zone will also be enhanced by stores and restaurants.

Linz
(183,504 inhabitants)

The station in Linz is the biggest project of the program Bahnhofsoffensive outside Vienna. It may not be considered as a single project, but a chain of interventions: the railway station itself (Linz Hauptbahnhof, no.1); the service center of the Region (Landesdienstleistungszentrum, no.2); the tram station (Straßenbahnunterfahrung, no.3); the office tower (Büroturm Linz – ein Standort mit Weitblick, no.4); the bus terminal (Busterminal, no.5); and the new street connection (Kärntnerstraße, no.6).

The old station building will be totally replaced by a new one designed by Holzbauer. The office tower will create offices for 800 people on 16,000 m² (on 26 floors).
