of researches focusing on specifical arguments, based on articles
published by planning journals.

The "review" examines how some authors have approached
to the issue of the strategic land use planning (in terms of its
definition, content, characteristics) between the years 1968-2000,
depending on the debate published in Town Planning Review. The purpose
of the paper is to review the different positions about strategic
planning, and to evaluate the changes related to it over a 30-year
period.
