Design, management and evaluation of the Social Policies

In the outline of a formative project of European Social
Found/Ministry of Labour/Lombardy Region the Polytechnic of Milan,
in cooperation with the Institute for Social Research, organizes
the Master in Social Planning. Design, management and evaluation
of the Social Policies.
The university Master in Social Planning aims to form a professional
figure, the Social Planner, able to analyse, plan and develop effective
actions of social politics both on local scale and on wider territorial
dimensions. The project intends to supply who works in the field
of social and health policies and in the field of local development
policies, both in public corporations and in No profit organizations,
the expertise and skills in the analysis, programming, design, start
up, implementation and evaluation of the social actions.
The master answers the request of new professional figures equipped
with specific expertise in the field of social policies, a sector
invested by institutional and social transformations which urge
the development of governance capability at all levels of action,
and on the other side the development of new planning expertise.
The Social Planner is called to interpret the changes in act and
to put forward innovative social policies. Therefore it turns out
a versatile figure at the crossroads between the planning functions
and the task connected to the organization and management of the
social interventions and policies.
The Master is financed by European Social Found/Ministry of Labour/Lombardy
Region. The participation to the Master is free.
