TIME-ORIENTED POLICIES FOR QUALITY OF LIFE AND SUSTAINABLE MOBILITY

The Master course is targeted to prepare public administration managers, territorial agencies directors, private firms and NGOs executives, in the management of time-oriented policies aimed at the quality of life of local communities, at the conciliation of private time and working time, at sustainable mobility, at the management of city rhythms. Board of teachers, students and case-studies are developed on an international basis. Professors are amongst the highest European experts in the design and management of urban time policies. Instruments, such as chronographic maps and governance techniques, studied for time policies have been realized during the last decade by a network of researchers, a large majority teaching within this same Master course. Case studies will be proposed by the representatives of a wide network of European cities, firms and local agencies working in the territories.

Official languages are Italian and English, facilitators will be present for French and German languages.
The Master is directed by prof. Sandra Bonfiglioli – Politecnico di Milano.
Students are admitted on the base of their CV and a colloquium. Only students having a 5 years university degree in humanistic or technical disciplines are admitted for selection.

Duration: 1 year, 2nd level Master Degree released by Politecnico di Milano and held in Bolzano. 60 credits
Selection: November, 12 2004, courses: January 2005 – January 2006.
